Spurs Women v Manchester United – travel update

Fans attending our rescheduled Barclays Women’s Super League match against Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 12pm) are asked to take note of the following travel information.

Road closures

Please note, our major event day road closure measures will be in place.

Stations

Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale is a fully accessible station with access to and between Victoria line and Greater Anglia services. Greater Anglia platforms are fully accessible from the concourse, which has entry and exit ramps.

Supporters using the Victoria line, including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters as it is a shorter journey to and from the stadium.

White Hart Lane

Four trains per hour are expected to call at White Hart Lane in both directions throughout the day. All trains will be made up of eight carriages.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool Street post-match are advised to use services from Northumberland Park, which will have greater capacity to those from White Hart Lane and shorter journey times due to making fewer stops.

White Hart Lane is a fully accessible station.

Northumberland Park

Supporters are advised to use Northumberland Park if using Greater Anglia services as it is a shorter distance to the stadium than Tottenham Hale.

Four trains per hour will call at Northumberland Park in both directions, split equally between Liverpool Street to Cambridge and Stratford to Hertford East services.

Supporters using the Elizabeth line are advised to change at Liverpool Street for services to Northumberland Park.

All train services are shown on www.nationalrail.co.uk.

Seven Sisters

Victoria line services will be operating every two to three minutes in both directions pre and post-match.

Pre-match, the Birstall Road diversion route may be in place at Seven Sisters for interchange between the Victoria line and London Overground services to avoid congestion on the northbound platform.

Supporters using the Victoria line, including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters as it is a shorter journey to and from the stadium.

TfL track closures

The Shenfield to Stratford branch of the Elizabeth line is closed this weekend and a reduced service will operate on other parts of the line. Planned track closures are also taking place on the Bakerloo, London Overground, Piccadilly, Metropolitan and Docklands Light Railway lines.

Queue management

Queue management systems will be in place at all stations. Supporters are asked to respect and work with staff at our stations.

Shuttle buses

The Club operates two Shuttle Bus services from both Alexandra Palace station (Great Northern Line) and Wood Green station (Piccadilly Line) to the stadium.

Great Northern services to Alexandra Palace will operate four trains per hour throughout the day.

TFL buses

Prior to the match the W3 will follow its normal route but the 149, 259, 279 and 349 services will be diverted away from the High Road at least two hours before the game. Supporters are advised to check for delays due to roadworks before travelling.

Post-match, the TfL bus services will return to normal operation as soon as possible after the local road closures are lifted. More information on road closures can be found above.

Cycling

For supporters wishing to cycle to the stadium, bike stands are available at Tottenham Community Sports Centre and St Francis De Sales School, which are both located on the High Road. Dedicated bicycle parking is also available on-street around the stadium.

Although our Bag Policy still applies, stewards will be briefed regarding cyclists’ need to carry helmets, puncture kits and removable seats into the stadium.
