Yang Min-Hyeok has won the Asian Games with South Korea Under-23s!
Our on-loan forward started Saturday’s final as his nation saw off Japan 1-0 to clinch gold.
He completed 66 minutes before being substituted, shortly after Eom Ji-Sung had given his side the lead.
It represents the fourth consecutive Asian Games triumph for South Korea – our legendary former captain Heung-Min Son was part of the winning side back in 2018 – and it’s the third time in a row that they’ve defeated Japan in the final.
Congratulations, Yang!
