Making Sport a Daily Habit

Our Making Sport a Daily Habit (MSADH) project encompasses multiple programmes to encourage people to incorporate exercise into their daily routines.

It is one of 79 projects delivered across the Premier League and English Football League – engaging over 250,000 participants across more than 350,000 sessions in England and Wales – thanks to support from the Premier League and Professional Footballers’ Association.

Administered through the Premier League Foundation, the funding helps us to tackle inequality and respond to local challenges, supporting people and their communities to be more inclusive.

MSADH Programmes

Shape Up with Spurs

Shape Up with Spurs is a flagship Foundation programme, having started in 2015 and since supported many thousands of beneficiaries through circuit-based physical activities.
The sessions are open to all, no matter your level of fitness, supporting you to move more, get fit and feel great!
Participant Rob Highsted, who attends alongside wife Mav: “It’s certainly become something that’s crucial to our health and our week as a family.
“The Foundation is doing something very special, benefiting our physical and mental health, and it’s something that allows us to make a lot of friends when there might not be so many opportunities in this stage of our lives.”

Girls' and school sport

Through our Foundation Football Centre, Lily's Little Stars and extracurricular provision, we deliver various football sessions for girls in the community and at schools, to give all ages an introduction to the game or to develop their skills.

We also deliver a Sports Leaders qualification in schools, providing a gateway for students into sports coaching careers.

Adult Football

We offer Monday evening football for members of the LGBTQI+ community, then football for men as well as walking football for men and women on Tuesday evenings.

This is complemented by a growing number of sessions for those with disabilities, led by our cerebral palsy (CP) team that competes in the national CP Development League.
