Luca Williams-Barnett has been shortlisted for October's Creative Moment of the Month following some dazzling wing play on his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.
Introduced on 88 minutes as a straight swap for Mathys Tel with us 2-0 up, the 18-year-old came on to a rousing reception from the Spurs faithful at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which ramped up when he neatly controlled Pedro Porro's switch and jinked past Anan Khalaili in his first action as a Premier League player.
That was a sign of things to come as a minute later the teenage talent again found himself one-versus-one with Khalaili down the left flank. First bursting past his defender on the outside, Luca's sharp cut back sat the wing-back down before accelerating away from three Palace players inside the box and creating a clear chance for Mohammed Kudus.
This piece of skill and creativity has seen our Academy graduate nominated for the Premier League's monthly award. Make sure to vote for Luca before 12noon on Monday 9 November.
What a way to introduce yourself to the top flight!
