Opposition team news | Forest's new signing Muñoz available

Nottingham Forest head coach Oliver Glasner says newest signing Daniel Muñoz is available when we visit the City Ground for Saturday's Premier League fixture (kick-off 3pm UK).

Muñoz made the switch from Crystal Palace to Forest on 31 August and is reunited with Glasner having spent 15 months together at Selhurst Park.

The wing-back underwent nose surgery after representing Colombia at the 2026 World Cup and wore a protective face mask when featuring for his former side on their opening day defeat to Everton on 22 August.

The 30-year-old became the Reds' sixth summer addition - following Xaver Schlager, Gustavo Sa (loaned out to Olympiakos), Ousmane Diomande, Steven Benda and Liam Delap - and is still working towards full fitness due to his shortened preseason post-World Cup but could make his debut against us this weekend.

"He is available," Glasner confirmed. "He arrived late after the World Cup and had a short pre-season. He played in a mask at Everton because he had surgery on his nose for his breathing."
