Spurs Spotlight: Numbers behind Holdt’s goalscoring campaign

Olivia Holdt has enjoyed a sensational first full season in Lilywhite – and the numbers certainly back that up.

Concluding the 2025/26 campaign by scoring the equalising goal in our 2-1 win at Brighton & Hove Albion, it meant that Oli finished the season as our top goalscorer in all competitions.

A winter arrival in 2025, joining us from FC Rosengard, the Denmark international made an immediate impact in the Women’s Super League, scoring a stoppage time winner on her debut at Crystal Palace while spending the second half of the 2024/25 campaign embedding into her new home.

With a full pre-season under her belt and under the guidance of Martin Ho, Oli showcased her quality on the biggest stage in England, scoring eight goals and producing three assists in 21 league appearances.

Opening her account with a stunning strike at home to Manchester City in September, the 24-year-old added a range of different goals to her catalogue throughout the campaign, from cheeky chipped finishes to excellent long-range efforts or even last-minute winners.

Her eight goals in the competition also saw her finish as the leading goalscorer from a midfielder plus her three assists was also the joint-top creator in the league from her position.

With her stunning strike from distance against London City Lionesses also shortlisted for the competition’s Goal of the Season award, the exciting midfielder scored the second-highest amount of goals from outside the box (three) – only Chelsea’s Lauren James netted more (four).

Alongside her clinical finishes, Oli spoke about ‘entertaining the fans’ and she certainly did that with her close footwork and her trickery on the ball, producing 1.8 successful dribbles per 90 in the WSL – only Signe Gaupset achieved more in our squad (3.0).
