The Foundation plays a key role in local schools
School Sport Development
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has a key role in schools in the local community. Our community coaches work alongside teachers to help them plan and improve their delivery of PE lessons in order to provide the necessary physical activity to students.
Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
The overall aim of the project is to improve the quality and impact of sport in school by improving confidence in delivering PE in teaching staff and improving confidence in PE participation for the students.
Helping Local Schools - Sian's Story
Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of professional football clubs to engage children in the classroom and on the sports field.
Danny from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation makes weekly visits to teacher Sian and her class at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Chingford, helping to improve her PE delivery, providing support in the classroom and inspiring children to learn.
Women and Girls
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has teamed up with Spurs Ladies to deliver a full-time Football & Education development programme for the next generation of talented footballers.
The programme is running in partnership with Barnet & Southgate College.
