One of our own, beginning her career at the club as a 12-year-old, Jess Naz has been at the forefront of our Women’s Super League journey and wrote her name in our history books by becoming a Spurs centurion in April, 2024. So, it was tough to see Jess suffer an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in December, 2025.

Until that point, Jess had featured in all games in the first half of 2025/26, making 13 appearances in total – taking her tally to an impressive 140 in her seven season with the club.

Having initially been at the club between the ages of 12 to 15, Jess returned as a senior player for our second season in the FA Women’s Championship as she helped us earn promotion to the WSL for the first time in our history in 2019. An unfortunate ACL injury sustained while competing for us in a pre-season tournament during the summer of 2019 meant she was sidelined for the entire 2019/20 campaign, our first in the WSL.

Marking her return in December, 2020, at Brighton & Hove Albion, she scored her first goal in England’s top flight in September 2021 and after an impressive 2021/22 campaign, she was named the Women’s Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards in March of that year.

2024/25 was a standout year for our number seven. Registering 11 goal involvements (seven goals and four assists) – her best goalscoring return in a campaign so far in her career – and played a crucial part in our historic Women’s FA Cup journey by scoring an equaliser in the semi-final clash with Leicester City as we eventually reached the final for the first time in our history.

A regular member of the England Under-23 squad, Jess received her maiden call-up to the senior squad in May, 2024, and made her debut for the Lionesses in July, 2024, as a substitute against Republic of Ireland. She has since earned six caps for her country to date.
