Bethany England joined us from Chelsea in January, 2023.
The experienced England international striker enjoyed a terrific start to life in north London, scoring 13 goals in 14 games in all competitions and being named both our Adult and Junior Supporters’ Player of the Season.
In September, 2023, she was named Club captain.
Bethany began her career with Doncaster Rovers Belles before joining Chelsea in 2016.
Following a successful loan spell at Liverpool, she excelled for Emma Hayes’ side in 2019/20, when she scored 21 goals in all competitions and won the Women’s Super League Player of the Season award.
That season, she also scored the winning goal in the Continental League Cup Final.
Bethany picked up nine major trophies from her time at Chelsea.
An established England international, Bethany represented her country at Under-19 and Under-23 levels before shining for the senior side with six goals in the qualifiers for the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
Part of Sarina Wiegman’s squad that won Euro 2022, she was a finalist at the aforementioned World Cup this past summer.
