An experienced head in the heart of our midfield, Drew Spence made 19 appearances in our record-breaking Barclays Women’s Super League campaign in 2025/26.

Surpassing over 200 appearances in the league, where she became the first player to have represented another nation than England to reach that milestone, Drew was a key part of Martin Ho’s side last term. Scoring twice in the cup competitions, the 33-year-old provided some clever assists in the campaign, notably her no-look reverse pass for Olivia Holdt to score her winner against Aston Villa in December, 2025.

Joining us from Chelsea in the summer of 2022, Drew made an instant impact in Lilywhite by scoring and assisting on her debut against Leicester City in September, 2022. She was also part of the squad to reach our first-ever Women’s FA Cup Final in May, 2024, where she started in the showpiece event at Wembley Stadium.

Life before Spurs

With 50 goals in 238 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, she was Chelsea’s longest serving player having represented the club for 14 years between 2008 and 2022. During her time in west London, Drew helped Chelsea win 11 major trophies. She became a champion of England five times, an FA Cup winner three times, and has two Continental Cup trophies and one Community Shield under her belt.

International

Her first senior call-up for the England national team also came in 2015, but after a couple of appearances for the Lionesses, she switched allegiances to Jamaica’s national team in 2021, and helped them qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where she helped her nation reach the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time.
