A former pupil at Lealands High School, he made his debut for our Under-18s as a 15-year-old during the 2023/24 season and shone at that level throughout the following campaign in 2024/25, memorably scoring long-range goals against West Ham, Leicester City and Aston Villa – the Leicester strike named Under-18 Premier League Goal of the Season – while also netting a hat-trick in our Under-17 Premier League Cup final success against Charlton Athletic. He was named on the bench for the first team on four occasions during that season – three in the UEFA Europa League and once in the Premier League.
He made his first team debut in our Carabao Cup third round win at home to Doncaster Rovers in September, 2025, and signed his first professional contract at the start of the following month.
Luca featured frequently for our Under-21s in 2025/26, netting his first hat-trick at that level in a 6-3 win at Leicester City in September, 2025, and memorably scored five goals in a single Under-19 UEFA Youth League game against Slavia Prague in December, 2025, to help us to our record win in the competition.
An England youth international, he has been capped at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels to date.
