Pedro Porro is now part of an exclusive club – Spurs players to win the World Cup.

The flying full-back did just that in the summer of 2026 when Spain beat Argentina to lift the coveted trophy in America, therefore joining Hugo Lloris (2018) and Cristian Romero (2022) as Spurs players to lift football's ultimate prize.

Pedro more than played his part, as well, starting six of eight games, including the final and scoring in the memorable 2-0 win against France in the semi-final.

Tigerish in the tackle with great quality on the ball, an eye for goal and an engine capable of running 90 minutes week in, week out, Pedro made most appearances in the squad in 2025/26 – 47 – taking his tally to 152 in all competitions since joining from Sporting CP, initially on loan, then permanently, in 2023.

Pedro played a key role in our UEFA Europa League triumph in 2024/25, including goals in the quarter-final and semi-finals – he started 12 of the 15 games, including the final against United in Bilbao.
