Esther Morgan signs first professional contract

We are delighted to announce that Esther Morgan has signed her first professional contract with the Club, which will run until June, 2022, with the option to extend for a further year.

It has been a memorable season of firsts for the 18-year-old who made the step up from our WSL Academy to the First Team last year.

The defender received her first senior call-up to the Wales squad in November and made her senior Barclays FA WSL debut against Everton in February.

The milestones kept coming when Esther made her senior international debut for Wales against Canada in Cardiff on Friday 9 April.

A life-long Spurs fan, Esther spoke of her pride at signing her first professional contract for the Club.

It’s a very proud moment for me and my family. It’s a dream come true.

Esther said: “Going through the pathway as well, it was amazing for me to even be given the opportunity and it’s testament to how good the Academy structure is here. I can’t wait to see how far we can go as a team.”
