Newcastle v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information

Premier League football returns after the international break, with the first of our nine remaining top-flight games taking place at Newcastle United on Sunday (kick-off 2.05pm UK).

Steve Bruce’s men are hovering just above the relegation zone heading into the game, while we’re chasing down a place in the top four.

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main event, kick-off 2.05pm.

Live radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live or via our live Match Centre, which also features full live text commentary, goal alerts and stats.

The Match Centre is available on the Spurs Official app and here on tottenhamhotspur.com with updates beginning from 90 minutes before kick-off.

Alternatively, head over to twitch.tv/tottenhamhotspur from 1.05pm UK for our official Watchalong.

How will the teams line up?

Heung-Min Son and Sergio Reguilon are available for the trip to St James’ Park.

Attacker Sonny was injured during the first half at Arsenal on 14 March and has missed our last two matches, while left-back Sergio was forced off during our 2-0 win at Aston Villa just before the international break, but both are expected to be okay to feature against Newcastle.

Full-backs Matt Doherty and Ben Davies are out, though, Ben having picked up an injury with us shortly before the international break, while Matt incurred a muscular problem on Republic of Ireland duty last week.

Erik Lamela is available again after suspension.

For Newcastle, influential winger Allan Saint-Maximin could return but top goalscorer Callum Wilson is unlikely to have recovered from injury in time to play.

Midfielder Isaac Hayden is out for the season with a knee injury, but goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka is fit again after suffering with illness while on international duty with Slovakia.

Heung-Min Son is back in training as the team prepares to face Newcastle United.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Sunday’s referee will be Craig Pawson, assisted by Ian Hussin and Eddie Smart.

Lee Mason will serve as the fourth official.

Newcastle will be in their usual black-and-white stripes, with their goalkeeper in blue.

With the hosts’ colours conflicting with both our home and away kits, we’ll play in our all yellow third kit, which is now available with 40 per cent off in our online store.

Our goalkeeper will be in bright green.

What will the weather be like?

It’ll be dry and bright in the north east for much of Sunday, but strong winds are expected.

Temperatures should be around 11 degrees at kick-off.
