Club and HSBC UK team up to support Children in Need

The Club and HSBC UK, our Official Banking Partner, are proud to show support for BBC Children in Need at this Sunday’s home Premier League match against Liverpool (kick-off 4.30pm).

BBC Children in Need aims to make sure that every child has the childhood they deserve – and the support they need to thrive. BBC Children in Need supports over 2,300 projects all across the UK, which helps children and young people across a range of different areas, such as improving mental health and wellbeing and providing more support to equal opportunities.

Currently, 4.3 million children are living in poverty in the UK. HSBC UK are supporting BBC Children in Need to help open up a new world of opportunity, where everyone has access to financial resources and where the UK’s most vulnerable children can get the help they need.

At Sunday’s game, Children in Need branding will be visible across our social channels, big screens and in our matchday programme to help raise awareness of the fantastic work undertaken by the charity every year. Volunteers will also be fundraising throughout the stadium.

Pudsey Bear will be making a special appearance at the game alongside the Club’s own mascots Chirpy and Lily for a walk around the pitch to meet fans and pose for photographs.

Fans wishing to make a donation can also do so by texting DONATE to 70405 to donate £5, or DONATE to 70420 to donate £20. Texts will cost your donation amount plus one standard network message charge. 100 per cent of your donation will go to BBC Children in Need.
