Head Coach Rehanne Skinner was disappointed with the way in which we lost Sunday’s game against West Ham United in the Women’s Super League.
“I thought we dominated the first half and we definitely should’ve capitalised on… we had eight good chances really, and we didn’t,” she said. “Unfortunately, that’s been the story of our games at the moment and we’ve got to make sure that we start as bright in the first part of each half every time. We haven’t done that again today, so really disappointing collectively.
“We just have to make sure we look at the things we’re not doing well and that we actually do something about it. Actions speak louder than words and that’s something that’s got to move forward in the next game against Everton.
“We didn’t capitalise on it in the first half and in the second half we just didn’t react really when we conceded a goal and didn’t do enough to change a game at that point. It’s disappointing with the quality of the players for sure that we’re not just getting that cohesion to fight until the end.”
