We have been drawn at home to Burnley in the third round of the FA Cup.
The draw took place this afternoon (Sunday 3 December) and pitted us against Vincent Kompany's side in what will be our first match in this season's competition.
We last met the Clarets at the start of September, running out 5-2 winners in the Premier League at Turf Moor.
Ties will be played across the weekend of Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January, 2024 - an exact date, time and ticket information will be confirmed in due course.
This will be our 142nd third round tie; we have progressed 111 times. Last term we overcame League One side Portsmouth at this stage of the competition, edging them thanks to a stunning effort from Harry Kane in a 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
