Robert Vilahamn has confirmed no fresh injury concerns ahead of our FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup quarter-final tie against Manchester City on Wednesday evening (7.30pm KO).
Defender Ashleigh Neville – who has missed our last two WSL fixtures against City and Liverpool - continues to be sidelined after picking up a grade two ankle injury last month and will remain out of contention for a number of weeks.
Midfielder Drew Spence (hamstring) has returned to small training with the squad and is making good progress, but remains unavailable for selection.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Robert said: “Ashleigh is taking steps and getting better, but she’s still a few more weeks away. Drew is back on the pitch and has been part of training and getting closer.”
