Our Under-21s open the new Premier League 2 season with an away trip to Sunderland this evening (Monday 18 August, 7pm UK).
Following our Under-18s’ eventful home draw with Reading and the first team’s 3-0 win over Burnley at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, it’s now the turn of our Development Squad to kick off 2025/26 in what is always a challenging fixture at the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground.
Wayne Burnett’s side concluded pre-season with a narrow defeat at Enfield Town earlier this month, which came off the back of a useful training camp in the Algarve.
