Team news | Spence back in contention, Morris back in full training

Fri 13 March 2026, 09:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Martin Ho will have Drew Spence back available for selection ahead of our Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (11.55am UK).

The experienced midfielder has missed our last three games through suspension after she was shown a red card in last month’s trip to West Ham United, but he has now served that suspension and is back in contention for this weekend.

He also confirmed that defender Ella Morris is now back in full training with the squad after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury in May, 2025, but reported that Sunday’s clash with the Toffees at our world-famous home ‘comes too quick’ for her.

Martin told the media in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning. “Drew [Spence] is back, Ella [Morris] is in full training but this game probably comes a little bit too quick for her, but she's training fully with the squad now. Apart from that, I think we are where we are."

Clare Hunt, Maika Hamano and Toko Koga still remain in the Women’s Asian Cup competition with their respective nations and, therefore, won’t be involved in our fixture in N17.

Maite Oroz, Jess Naz and Luana Buhler remain long-term absentees.
