To honour Holocaust Memorial Day 2025, marking 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Club Ambassador Ledley King and London Academy of Excellence Tottenham student Victoria met John Hajdu MBE, a Holocaust survivor.
John - pictured above with Ledley - shared his powerful story of survival, resilience, and the importance of standing against hate. This year’s theme, 'For a Better Future', calls on us to build a world where the dignity of every human being is protected, and where prejudice is never allowed to become normalised.
This campaign - in partnership between Jewish News, The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and the FA - brought football clubs, students, young supporters and Holocaust survivors together at Wembley Stadium to ensure the lessons of the past shape a better future.
