Pedro Porro has been selected by Spain for their upcoming March internationals.

Capped twice, the 24-year-old's fine form this season has been rewarded with his fourth senior international call-up and first since March 2023 ahead of friendlies against Colombia and Brazil.

The defender has thrived under Ange Postecoglou in 2023/24, adapting superbly to a new all-action full-back role and is currently our joint-top creator in the Premier League with eight assists in his 24 appearances.

A mainstay in our back four this term, Pedro returned to the starting lineup in our 4-0 win at Aston Villa last time out, after missing out through injury against Wolves and Crystal Palace for the first time, and scored his opening goal of the campaign with a stunning winner in our FA Cup third round victory over Burnley on 5 January.

Up first for Luis de la Fuente's side is Colombia at London Stadium on Friday week (22 March, 8.30pm UK) before taking on Brazil at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday 26 March (8.30pm UK).
