First England youth call-up for Hall

Fri 15 March 2024, 12:10|Tottenham Hotspur

Tyrese Hall has received his first-ever England call-up, linking up with the Under-19s for two matches in Morocco later this month.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been in fine form for our Academy sides this season, excelling in our Under-18s with three goals and three assists in 13 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and played a big role in the FA Youth Cup with goal contributions in each round of our run to the quarter-final stage (three goals, one assist).

His standout performances at that level also earned him a full Under-21 debut against Cambridge United's men's first team in the EFL Trophy in November, 2023, before providing two assists in his maiden Premier League 2 outing in our 5-3 win over Aston Villa back in January, playing every minute in the league for our table-topping Under-21s since.

Tyrese joins Club team-mates Alfie Dorrington, Jamie Donley and Will Lankshear in the Young Lions squad for matches against hosts Morocco on Thursday 21 March (kick-off 9.30pm UK) and the USA on the Sunday (24 March, kick-off 11am UK), with both fixtures to be played in the Moroccan capital Rabat.

Congratulations, Tyrese!
