Matilda Vinberg has been called up to the Sweden squad for the upcoming international break in July.

Head Coach Peter Gerhardsson has named a 27-player squad for their final two fixtures of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifiers, with a chance to secure their spot in next summer’s European Championship in Switzerland.

Sweden are currently sat second in their qualifying group, just two points behind leaders France, while they are ahead of the Lionesses with a better goal difference.

Their penultimate game seems them take on France with the northern European nation making the trip to Stade Gaston-Gerard in Dijon on Friday 12 July (kick-off 8.10pm). They will then welcome Jess Naz’s England side to the Ullevi in Gothenburg, Sweden, in the final game of the group phase on Sunday 16 July (kick-off 6pm).

Matilda heads into the international break with six caps to her name for her nation and one goal.
