Ange Postecoglou has said that James Maddison is 'feeling good" after he returned to training with the squad.

Our summer arrival from Leicester City has been out since early November when he suffered an ankle injury against Chelsea but, after two months of rehabilitation and recovery, the midfielder has now returned to training and is looking forward to getting back into the thick of it. 

There was also positive news in terms of Ben Davies and Dane Scarlett, who have also returned to training after injury. However, Giovani Lo Celso remains out.

"Team news wise, everyone from the last game, has got through well," Ange explained. "We gave them a few days off, which I think was good for them. And, yes, since the return 'Madders' is back training with the group, which is good. So he's feeling good.

"And Ben (Davies) and Dane Scarlett also began training with the group so it's good to get the numbers back up."

Manor Solomon and Alejo Veliz now remain our only two long-term absentees.
