Mon 08 January 2024, 16:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Captain Bethany England has been nominated for the first-ever EA Sports FC Women’s Team of the Year for 2023.

A team built up of the best performers from across the world last year, Bethany is one of 61 top-flight players to be shortlisted for the digital team.

Our number nine, Bethany, made an instant impact in Lilywhite after completing the move to N17 in January, 2023, from Chelsea and went onto score an impressive 13 goals in 14 games in all competitions.

She finished as the club’s leading goalscorer for the 2022/23 campaign, despite only being here for second half of the season, and third in the Barclay’s Women’s Super League – only behind Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly and Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw.

A number of WSL players have also been nominated alongside Bethany - including Daly, Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp, Chelsea’s Millie Bright, Guro Reiten, Sam Kerr, and Manchester United’s Mary Earps are just a few to name.

You can now vote to show your support for Bethany as she goes up against players from across the world for a place in the Team of the Season.
