Team news | Spurs vs Wolves | Forster fractures foot

Fri 16 February 2024, 15:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou has been dealt an injury blow between the sticks as Fraser Forster fractured his foot in training.

Signed in the summer of 2022, Fraser has played the role of deputy to Guglielmo Vicario thus far this season but is now expected to miss the next 'couple of months' as he recovers from an injury that he picked up in training.

"The big (injury) is Fraser [Forster]," Ange revealed in his pre-match chat with SPURSPLAY. "He had a knock in training and has a fracture in his foot so a couple of months (out) for him."

Having made one appearance for us so far this campaign - coming in our League Cup second round defeat to Fulham - the 6ft 7in shot stopper has played 21 games for us in all competitions.

The goalkeeper joins Manor Solomon, Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro on the sidelines.
