Point at Arsenal sees us edge ahead in Premier League comebacks table

Tue 26 September 2023, 15:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We are officially the Premier League's comeback kings.

In taking a point from Sunday's north London derby, despite having trailed twice in the clash, we have now taken more points from losing positions than any other side in Premier League history.

Twice levelling against the Gunners through Heung-Min Son (42 and 55 minutes) after a Cristian Romero own goal (26) and a Bukayo Saka penalty (54) had given the hosts the advantage, it was the 428th point we had claimed in the top flight from a losing position since it's rebrand in 1992.

That point saw us edge in front of Manchester United (427) and to the top of that respective table. Arsenal (392), Liverpool (390) and Chelsea (360) complete the top five.

So far this season, we have collected eight points from losing positions - that amounts to 57 per cent of our total points at this stage (14).
