Harry Kane equalled his best-ever goalscoring season in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as he hit his 30th goal of the campaign - as many as he managed in 2017/18.

Heading into the game at Elland Road with 28 goals in the top flight this campaign, Harry found the target twice in West Yorkshire to bring him up to the fabled tally of 30 league goals.

Curling in our opener on two minutes for his 29th of the term, the forward later produced a trademark finish from the left-hand side of the box to give us our third on 69.

The goals also saw Harry three Premier league records - most away goals scored in a Premier League campaign, most different games scored in during a Premier League campaign (including 42-game seasons) and most final day goals.

This season, only one player registered more goals in the Premier League than Harry - Manchester City's Erling Haaland who won the competition's Golden boot with a Premier League record return of 36.

The Norwegian was also the only player to record more goal involvements in the League than Kane (33 - 30 scored, three assisted) - Haaland contributed to 44 goals in the competition (36 scored, eight assisted).

Harry became just the second player in Premier League history to score 30+ goals in two different seasons, having also hit 30 goals in the 2017/18 season. Alan Shearer is the only other player to have done so in the competition, having done so in 1993/94 (31) and 1994/95 (34).

However, both times Shearer recorded his 30+ goal seasons, they came in 42-game campaigns. Harry is the first to ever register two 30+ goal campaigns in 38-match seasons.
