We are delighted to announce that Jamie Donley has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until 2027.

The left-footed striker first made an impact in our Under-18 side during the 2020/21 season while still a schoolboy and after making further progress upon becoming a full-time scholar during the summer of 2021, he turned professional in January, 2022, finishing the 2021/22 campaign with a superb 17 goals in 21 appearances for the Under-18s.

Capped by England and Northern Ireland at youth level, the 18-year-old has continued to shine this season and has featured regularly for both the Under-18s and Under-21s, sometimes playing in a deeper role with the latter and scoring his first Premier League 2 goal in a vital win at Liverpool at the turn of the year, which kick-started an unbeaten run for the team.

Jamie, who joined the Club at the age of eight, also scored the first goal of our 2022/23 UEFA Youth League campaign against Marseille and went on to start five of our six matches in the Under-19 competition.
