Harry Kane, Asmita Ale and Heung-Min Son have been shortlisted in different categories in the 2023 London Football Awards.

Independently judged by figures across the game in the capital, the annual awards commend the very best of football in London over the course of a season.

Harry is up for Premier League Player of the Year after another superb 12 months for us, which has put him on the cusp of becoming the Club’s all-time record goalscorer – he’s currently level on 266 with the great Jimmy Greaves. Also vying for the award are Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, Ivan Toney of Brentford and Aleksandar Mitrovic of Fulham.

Full-back Asmita, meanwhile, has been shortlisted for Women’s Young Player of the Year after some impressive displays for Rehanne Skinner’s side. Lauren James of Chelsea and Izzy Atkinson of West Ham are also in the running.

In addition, Sonny is in contention for Goal of the Season with his first goal against Leicester City on 17 September. He’s up against Michael Olise (Crystal Palace v Manchester United), Ismaila Sarr (Watford v West Bromwich Albion), Paul Smyth (Leyton Orient v Doncaster Rovers) and Laura Wienroither (Arsenal v Manchester United).

This year’s winners will be announced on 13 March – wishing the best of luck to all three of our nominees!
