Antonio Conte has confirmed that Oliver Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr will play their part in our Champions League round of 16 opener with AC Milan.

Following the confirmation this morning (Monday 13 February) that Rodrigo Bentancur has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and the knowledge that, after picking up three yellow cards in our group stage campaign, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be suspended for the game while Yves Bissouma remains unavailable after he recently underwent surgery following a stress fracture to his left ankle, the two youngsters will be called upon as we take on the Italian giants.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference at the San Siro, Antonio said: "We have the solution in our house. We have two young players, (Oliver) Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr. We have two young players, their first games in the Champions League.

"We have to be good to help them overcome the emotion and we trust them. We want to use this period to become stronger, to face difficulty in the right way. Tomorrrow we have to suffer to overcome the difficulty in the right way."

Like Rodrigo, Pierre and Yves, captain Hugo Lloris has also not travelled to northern Italy as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
