Bournemouth's latest recruit Tyler Adams will not be fit to face us in Saturday's Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium (12.30pm).
The USA international midfielder, snapped up from Leeds United earlier this week, is carrying an injury and it's the same situation for another of Bournemouth's new arrivals, Alex Scott, last season's EFL Championship Young Player of the Year.
“They both need time,” Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola told the media at his press conference on Friday morning. “The club signed the players knowing they will be out for some games. I think Tyler should be earlier than Alex. Alex will spend more time out, neither of them are close to playing."
Bournemouth have a few players on the injury list - former Spurs Ryan Fredericks and Adam Smith, Marcus Tavernier, Emiliano Marcondes, Lewis Cook and Dango Ouattara all missed last weekend’s defeat to Liverpool.
Asked if any were in the running for tomorrow, Iraola responded: “From the past week, I think it is going to be difficult to recover anyone else. Probably the closest one, and we are also thinking in the next week we have three games, will be Lew. I think he will be able to help us during the week, but I don’t expect anyone else for tomorrow’s game."
