Barbora Votíková signs

We are delighted to announce the signing of Barbora Votíková.

The 26-year-old Czech goalkeeper has signed a contract with the Club which will run until 2025 and will wear the number one shirt.

Born in Plzeň, Czech Republic, Votíková began her career at Viktoria Plzeň, where she made her senior debut in 2013.

After one season with the first team, Votíková moved to Slavia Prague where she enjoyed a seven-year stay. During that time, she helped Slavia to four Women’s First League title, a Czech Women’s Cup and to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on three occasions (2015/16, 2017/18 and 2018/19).

In 2021, the shot stopper moved on to Paris Saint-Germain. In her first campaign in Paris, she kept nine clean sheets in 12 DR Arkema games and went on to be nominated for the league’s Goalkeeper of the Year award. She also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League with the French side in 2021/22.

In her international career, Votíková has collected 38 caps to date for the Czech Republic.
