Ashley Phillips drops into Kicks football camp at Summer of Spurs!

Ashley Phillips became the latest special guest to drop into Summer of Spurs this afternoon, as he wrapped up this year’s delivery by taking part in our hugely popular Kicks Football Camp with young people from across the community.
Over the past four weeks, we’ve seen kids flock to New River Sports & Fitness Centre to take advantage of the free football and multi-sport activities on offer and enjoy a free lunch provided by the Club.
The Summer of Spurs programme is now in its second year and aims to keep young people in the community engaged in positive activity during the school holidays, providing a safe, fun environment to meet friends and promote health and wellbeing.
Throughout the month, we’ve seen an incredible 1815 participants taking part in over 170 hours’ worth of activities delivered by Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
The 18-year-old defender took part in a series of games including dodgeball, football tennis, and flag football, and took the time to sign autographs, take photos and provide tips to the aspiring footballers.
Ashley’s visit follows special guest appearances from vice-captain Christian Romero, Emerson Royal and AJ Tracey, one of the UK’s biggest grime/rap artists.
