Travel information for fans attending the Challenge Cup Final

Fans attending the AB Sundecks 1895 and Betfred Challenge Cup Finals on Saturday between Featherstone Rovers and Leigh Centurions (kick-off 12pm) and Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants (kick-off 3pm) respectively are asked to take note of the following travel information.

We recommend supporters familiarise themselves with Transport for London’s safer travel guidance, which includes a recommendation to wear a face covering while using the network.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is highly accessible by public transport:

- It is served by four stations (White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters) providing access to London Overground, London Underground, Greater Anglia services and numerous TfL buses.
- Free high-capacity shuttle bus services to and from the Piccadilly line at Wood Green and Greater Northern services at Alexandra Palace connect the stadium with other stations and services.

There is ample cycle parking around the stadium. Walking routes to and from the stadium to stations and coach parks are all clearly signposted. Stewards will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Wherever fans are travelling from, particularly if they have never been to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before, we recommend using this detailed travel advice and the information below to plan their journey in advance.

Victoria line

Supporters arriving in London via national rail services to Euston or King’s Cross stations are advised to use the Victoria line to travel to Tottenham. Services will operate every two to three minutes with journey times of 10 minutes to Seven Sisters station and 12 minutes to Tottenham Hale station.

Supporters using the Victoria line have the following options to complete their journey to the stadium:

- Travel to Tottenham Hale and change to the Greater Anglia rail service to Northumberland Park which is one stop from Tottenham Hale and a shorter walk to the stadium. Services will operate every six minutes.
- Travel to Seven Sisters and change to the London Overground service to White Hart Lane station which is closer to the stadium than Northumberland Park. Services will operate every 15 minutes. A diversion will be in place for the Seven Sisters interchange to avoid congestion on platforms which may add a delay of 15 minutes.
- Travel to Seven Sisters and use TfL bus services to the stadium. Services will operate every one to two minutes. Buses will stop outside the stadium until road closures take effect at 1pm, at which point supporters can walk the remaining distance with the stadium visible from Tottenham High Road.
- Travel to Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters and walk to the stadium. Tottenham Hale is a 25-minute walk and Seven Sisters is a 30-minute walk.

Elizabeth line

The initial service of the new line commenced on 24 May with a direct service from Paddington station to Abbey Wood station in south-east London via Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street stations.

Supporters arriving in London via Paddington station are advised to use the Elizabeth line service to Liverpool Street and take the first available train to either Northumberland Park or White Hart Lane stations.

Supporters travelling from north Kent are advised to use Elizabeth line services from Abbey Wood with a journey time of approximately 45 minutes.

Supporters travelling from Essex are advised to change at Stratford station and take a train directly to Northumberland Park. Services will operate every 15 minutes with a journey time of 12-15 minutes.

Tottenham Hale

Access to the Victoria line and between London Underground and Greater Anglia services is available from Tottenham Hale.

Tottenham Hale is a fully accessible station.

White Hart Lane

London Overground services will operate four trains per hour in both directions throughout the day, with all trains consisting of eight carriages.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool Street post-game are advised that Northumberland Park services have equal capacity and frequency to those from White Hart Lane.

White Hart Lane is a fully accessible station.

Northumberland Park

Supporters are advised to use Northumberland Park if using Greater Anglia services as it is a shorter distance to the stadium than Tottenham Hale. Trains from central London will depart from Liverpool Street or Stratford and supporters are advised to check train times before departing.

Seven Sisters

Victoria line services will be operating every two to three minutes in both directions pre and post-game.

Pre-game, the Birstall Road diversion route will be in place at Seven Sisters for interchange between the Victoria line and London Overground services to avoid congestion on the northbound platform.

Post-game

We expect more than half of event attendees to depart the Tottenham area via the Victoria line. Queues can be expected at the High Road entrance to Seven Sisters station. Post-game queues can also be expected at White Hart Lane station for northbound and southbound services.

Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale will be less busy with no significant delays expected at either station.

Queue management

Queue management systems will be in place at all stations. Supporters are asked to respect and work with staff at our stations.

Coaches

Limited coach parking is available a short walk from the stadium and can be booked here.

Road closures

Please note, our major event day road closure measures will be in place.

Ride London road closures

Supporters travelling from or via Essex may be affected by road closures for the Ride London cycling event and should plan their journey in advance.

TFL buses

Prior to the game the W3 will follow its normal route but the 149, 259, 279 and 349 services will be diverted away from the High Road at least two hours before the game. Supporters are advised to check for delays due to roadworks before travelling.

Post-game, the TfL bus services will return to normal operation as soon as possible after the local road closures are lifted. More information on road closures can be found below.

Cycling

For supporters wishing to cycle to the stadium, bike stands are available at Tottenham Community Sports Centre which is located on the High Road. Dedicated bicycle parking is also available on-street around the stadium.

Although our Bag Policy still applies, stewards will be briefed regarding cyclists’ need to carry helmets, puncture kits and removable seats into the stadium.

Shuttle Buses

Two Shuttle Bus services will be operating from Alexandra Palace (Great Northern Line) and Wood Green stations (Piccadilly Line) to the stadium.

Great Northern services will operate four trains per hour in both directions throughout the day via Alexandra Palace.
