Spurs v Arsenal – how to watch, team news, key information

Thu 12 May 2022, 13:31|Tottenham Hotspur

One of the most significant north London derbies in recent memory takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening (kick-off 7.45pm UK).

With both sides vying for a top four finish, victory is crucial if we’re to give ourselves a chance of leapfrogging the Gunners into the Champions League qualifying places by the end of the season.

Here’s all the key information you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

Tonight’s huge match gets underway at 7.45pm and will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.

If you’re supporting us from overseas, the worldwide broadcast listings will advise whether the match is being shown in your area.

BBC Radio 5 Live will carry live audio commentary, as will our popular Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, which also features minute-by-minute text updates, goal alerts and stats – the ideal way to follow the derby, wherever you are.

You can also tune in for free to N17 Live, our exclusive pre- and post-match show emanating from inside the stadium, on the website, app and across our official social media channels from 7pm UK.

Alternatively, join our official Watchalong on Twitch from 6.45pm UK.

How will the teams line up?

We remain without Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga.

Arsenal will assess Ben White and Bukayo Saka after both have missed game time of late.

Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney are still sidelined for them.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Paul Tierney will referee the game tonight, assisted by Constantine Hatzidakis and Neil Davies.

The fourth official will be Peter Bankes, with Mike Dean and assistant Lee Betts on VAR duties.

We’ll be in our home kit – Lilywhite shirts with navy shorts and navy socks – with our goalkeeper in green.

Arsenal will wear red shirts, white shorts and red and white socks, with their keeper in orange.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Captain Hugo Lloris is the subject of the main interview in tonight’s official matchday programme, which features a special-edition front cover. As always, it’ll be on sale at the game, priced at the usual £3.50, available from all Tap Inn counters around the stadium and external pods situated at Paxton House, the South Podium, Park Lane Square and Worcester Avenue.

Supporters not attending the match can order a copy online here, for delivery direct to your door.

What will the weather be like?

There’ll be sunny intervals with a gentle breeze in north London tonight, with temperatures expected to be around 16 degrees.
