Following last week’s initial update on our men’s first team squad numbers, we can now confirm some additional allocations ahead of the forthcoming season.

Djed Spence will wear the number 24 shirt, while fellow new arrival Clément Lenglet will wear number 34.

Existing player Joe Rodon switches to number 22, with his previous number 14 shirt now assigned to Ivan Perisic ahead of his first campaign in our colours. This supercedes Ivan’s previously-allocated temporary squad number for the pre-season period with immediate effect.

The above-named players will begin using their new numbers from Saturday’s match against Rangers at Ibrox.

As previously announced, Yves Bissouma will wear number 38 during our pre-season fixtures, although supporters are reminded that this may not be representative of his finalised squad number for 2022/23. We shall provide any further updates on this in due course.

Squad numbers for Fraser Forster (20), Richarlison (9), Cristian Romero (17), Pape Matar Sarr (29) and Oliver Skipp (4) were confirmed last week. All other squad numbers for existing players remain subject to change, with the full finalised list to be confirmed when the Club submits its final squad list to the Premier League prior to the opening weekend of the 2022/23 season.
