Jiali Tang scored and provided an assist as China came from 2-0 down to beat So-hyun Cho's South Korea 3-2 in a dramatic AFC Women's Asian Cup Final in India on Sunday.

The team-mates were pitted against each other in the final at the D Y Patil Sports Stadium, Mumbai - and things looked to be going Cho's way as South Korea raced into a 2-0 lead at half-time.

It was still 2-0 midway through the second half when Jiali gave China hope by making it 2-1 from the penalty spot. The forward then brilliantly beat two players and crossed for Linyan Zhang to head home the equaliser on 72 minutes.

Jiali was also involved in China's dramatic winner three minutes into added time. She picked the ball up centrally and passed to Shanshan Wang, and she played in to Yuyi Xiao to fire home from 12 yards.

It was China's ninth title and, by winning their quarter-finals in this tournament, China, South Korea, Philippines and Vietnam have all qualified for next year's FIFA Women's World Cup.
