Lo Celso loaned to Villarreal

Giovani Lo Celso has joined La Liga side Villarreal on loan for the 2022/23 season.

The Argentina midfielder made 19 appearances for us in all competitions in 2021/22 before departing for Villarreal on loan in January, where he played 22 times.

Giovani joined us from Real Betis in 2019 and has made 84 appearances in our colours to date, scoring eight goals.
