Information for fans travelling to Forest on Wednesday night

Supporters making the trip to The City Ground for our Carabao Cup, third round tie against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening should be aware of the following information...

A reminder that we kick-off at 7.45pm, with gates opening at 6.30pm.

Supporters are advised to arrive early and not travel to the stadium without a match ticket.

Getting to The City Ground

For supporters arriving in Nottingham by train, The City Ground is a 20-minute walk from Nottingham train station.

Local buses 5, 6, 7, and 8 operate from the station to the Trent Bridge, Victoria Embankment stop and the Cricket Ground stop, both of which are a short walk to the stadium. More information on local buses can be found at www.nctx.co.uk.

Supporters travelling by car are advised that there is no parking available at the stadium itself and controlled parking zones and resident parking schemes will be in operation locally.

Approved parking will be available on a first come, first served basis at the following locations:

  • Meadow Lane (Notts County FC) Cattle Market Pay & Display (NG2 3HJ)
  • Lady Bay Sports Ground (NG2 5AA)
  • County Hall (Notts County Council Building) (NG2 7QP)

Supporters approaching The City Ground by crossing the River Trent on London Road are advised to take Radcliffe Road and then Colwick Road to reach the stadium. There will be no access to the visitors’ section from Pavilion Road, which is the first road off Radcliffe Road.

Supporters crossing the River Trent on Lady Bay Bridge are advised to approach the stadium from Scarrington Road.

Entering the stadium

The visitors’ section is located in Blocks W1, W2, X1, X2 and Y1 of the lower tier of the Bridgford Stand. Blocks W1, W2, X1 and X2 are accessed via turnstiles 49-56. Block Y1 is accessed via turnstiles 1-3. 

Nottingham Forest have a strict search policy at the stadium which may include random searches. Supporters are asked to arrive early to allow time for any necessary security checks.

Supporters are also reminded of recent announcements regarding anti-social behaviour at football matches, including the possession and use of pyrotechnics, smoke bombs and drugs.

Accessibility

Disabled supporters are located in Blocks X1, X2 and W2. When arriving at the visitors’ section, wheelchair using supporters are asked to approach a steward who will escort them into the stadium.

Accessible toilets are available in the visitors’ section and supporters without their own RADAR key will be able to request one from a steward.

Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards will be available should any support be required.

Wheelchair using supporters will not be able to access the concourse kiosks at half-time for refreshments. Personal Assistants will be able to access the kiosks on their behalf.

Refreshments

Concessions in the visitors’ section will be serving food and hot and cold drinks as well as alcoholic beverages.

Visiting supporters’ pubs

The recommended visiting supporters’ pubs is the Meadow Lane Sports Bar at Notts County FC (NG2 3HJ), which is a 10-minute walk from The City Ground and close to the visitors’ section. It will open at 5pm.

Cashless payments

The City Ground is a cashless stadium. All major debit and credit cards are accepted as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Flags and Banners

Flags and banners are only permitted into the stadium with prior notice and permission from Nottingham Forest’s Stadium Operations team, which can be obtained by calling 0115 982 4444.

Supporters are reminded that the Club’s own Flags and Banners Policy is also in operation at away matches.

Bag Policy

Supporters are asked to only bring a bag if it is absolutely essential.

Backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks or other similar items of any size will not be permitted into the stadium. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 (210mm x 297mm) will be permitted into the stadium.

Spurs respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour which includes shouting, chanting or actions such as racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability behaviour is unacceptable. If you witness incidents like these, please report them using the information below.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language.

Reporting anti-social behaviour

To report any anti-social or discriminatory behaviour while at The City Ground, supporters can text FOREST to 60066 so that Nottingham Forest can investigate and take appropriate action.

Ticket Office

Supporters collecting duplicate tickets at the stadium can do so from the Visitors’ Ticket Office which is located on the corner of the Brian Clough and Bridgford Stands and 20m from the visitors’ section. The Ticket Office opens at 6pm.

Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.

Unauthorised use of tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50% reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters unable to attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club shall make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of originally issued tickets.
