Tottenham Hotspur becomes first football club featured in EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL to celebrate the NFL’s return to London

The NFL is back in London for the first time since 2019 and to celebrate the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, EA SPORTS Madden NFL 22 today released bespoke Tottenham Hotspur kits in the game, making Tottenham Hotspur the first football club to be featured in Madden NFL in franchise history.

Todd Kline, Chief Commercial Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are excited to continue our partnership with the NFL by hosting both of the London Games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this year. Through this latest collaboration with our joint partners EA SPORTS, we now become the first Premier League club ever featured in Madden, enabling fans with a passion for both sports to access both our home and third Nike kits whilst playing the game.”

The Nike Tottenham Hotspur 2021-2022 home and third kits are available in The Yard, Madden NFL’s newest mode that allows players to experience backyard-inspired football with fast-paced, small-sided gameplay. In The Yard, players have the option to play solo, online co-op vs. the CPU or online head-to-head multiplayer in teams of one, two, or three players.

Whilst the NFL is hosted in London, NFL fans across Europe can receive a 30% discount on Madden NFL 22 across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and a 35% discount on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Origin and Steam, and Google Stadia.

For fans heading to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, EA SPORTS has also created a unique Madden NFL 22 mural in the Tottenham area, which features a special QR code that will take fans to Tottenham Hotspur content in the game.
