Tue 18 May 2021, 20:09|Tottenham Hotspur

Our final home game of the season takes place on Wednesday evening as we welcome Aston Villa to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (kick-off 6pm UK), with 10,000 fans also set to be in attendance as the gradual relaxation of lockdown measures continues.

How will the teams line up?

Serge Aurier is back in training after missing Sunday’s win over Wolves through injury, but Interim Head Coach Ryan Mason will assess Gareth Bale after his shift at the weekend.

Ryan said: “It was probably the best I’ve seen Gareth all season at the weekend, sharp, running at players, he has that confidence back from playing in consecutive games in the Premier League. We’re not sure if he’s going to be ready. He's knows his body. It’s down to the player, he’s experienced enough, so we’ll see.”

Ryan also has “a couple of question marks” over certain players following the Wolves match, while left-back Ben Davies is still sidelined.

For Villa, Matty Cash and Morgan Sanson are out but Tyrone Mings looks set to be available and Jack Grealish could make his first start since February.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Craig Pawson will officiate Wednesday evening’s match.

He’ll be assisted by Ian Hussin and Richard West, with Simon Hooper as the fourth official.

The launch of our new Nike 2021/22 home kit will now take place later this month and, as such, we shall continue to wear this season’s home kit for the remainder of the season.

Aston Villa will play in claret and blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks, with our goalkeeper in orange and Villa’s in green.

How can I get the matchday programme?

For those attending in person, matchday programmes will be available at Tap Inn counters throughout the stadium and from the Spurs Shop at the Tottenham Experience.

For those supporting the team from home, printed copies are available to order and have delivered direct to your door.

Although the deadline to order your copy and have it in your hands in time for kick-off has now passed, you can still order yours online for delivery as soon as possible. Heung-Min Son is the subject of the main interview in Wednesday’s edition, priced at the usual £3.50. Order yours in the post now.

What will the weather be like?

Light rain is forecast in north London on Wednesday afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures are expected to be around 14 degrees at kick-off.
