Travel update – open training session

Thu 29 July 2021, 17:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Fans attending our open training session at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (stadium opens at 9.30am with training beginning at 11am) should take note of the following travel information.

We recommend supporters familiarise themselves with the latest government guidance on staying safe while using public transport, including face coverings and social distancing where possible, which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers.

The local Tottenham North Controlled Parking Zone in the Stadium vicinity will be operational for this event.

Stations - White Hart Lane

There will be no London Overground services to or from White Hart Lane station. Supporters are encouraged to use the frequent High Road bus services from Seven Sisters station when using the Victoria line.

Seven Sisters

Victoria line services will be operating at Seven Sisters with 20-25 trains per hour in both directions pre and post-event. Supporters are encouraged to check the service status before travelling due to potential issues with train operator availability.

Northumberland Park

Greater Anglia are operating one train per hour each way between Liverpool Street and Northumberland Park. Supporters are advised to check www.nationalrail.co.uk for exact times before travelling.

Tottenham Hale

Greater Anglia are operating six trains an hour from Liverpool Street to Tottenham Hale, diverted by way of Stratford. Supporters are advised to check www.nationalrail.co.uk for exact times before travelling. There is currently no lift service at Tottenham Hale London Underground station. Supporters requiring lift access are advised to use Northumberland Park as an alternative.

Meridian Water

The Lea Valley Reversible service between Stratford and Meridian Water will not operate this Saturday.

All train services are shown on www.nationalrail.co.uk.

There will be no queue management systems at any of the stations.

Buses

As road closures will not be in place for this event, TfL Buses will be running north and south along the High Road, stopping outside the stadium.

Cycling

For supporters wishing to cycle to the stadium, bike stands are available at Sainsbury’s Tottenham Superstore on Northumberland Park as well as on-street around the stadium.

Although our Bag Policy still applies, stewards will be briefed regarding cyclists’ need to carry helmets and accessories into the stadium.
