Paul Robinson joins us on N17 Live for Leeds clash!

Fri 01 January 2021, 16:17|Tottenham Hotspur

We've a special guest joining us for Saturday's huge match between two of his former clubs - Paul Robinson, who enjoyed successful spells at Spurs and Leeds United in a career spanning 20 years.

Join 'Robbo' and presenter Ben Haines for our popular matchday show from 11.45am on Saturday morning ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off. They will go straight into the breaking team news and then analyse the task ahead against Marcelo Bielsa's men.

A fans' favourite in four years here at Spurs, Paul joined us from Leeds in the summer of 2004, and his performances propelled him to England's number one status within months of his switch - a status he was reminded of by supporters who would greet him every week by singing 'England's number one, England, England's number one...'

Now 41, Paul made 175 appearances in all competitions for us between 2004-08, helped us to League Cup success in 2008 and earned 37 of his 41 England caps during his time here, including five at the 2006 World Cup. He went on to play for Blackburn and Burnley before a serious back injury forced his retirement in 2017. He's since enjoyed work as a pundit for Sky Sports, beIN Sports and Premier Sports.

Other highlights

As we wave goodbye to an unforgettable 2020 and step into 2021, presenter and lifelong Spurs fan Ben Haines has put together his 20 goals from 2020, and there are some crackers in there! Ben and Paul will talk all things Spurs and we've some special festive features, including a message to a supporter. Robbo will also give us his views on Hugo Lloris and take a look back at our recent games against Stoke and Wolves.

Competition time!

We continue to give fans the opportunity to win top prizes on N17 Live, and we've a special giveaway to kick-off 2021 - an official Premier League matchball, signed by Gareth Bale! Tune in from 11.145am for how to enter!
