The Club is releasing free video content from our Global Football Development team – the first part of which is out today – to help keep budding footballers active during lockdown.
With the help of our expert coaches, the content is aimed at keeping children physically active and promoting positive mental wellbeing.
The Club’s Global Football Development team have created content that showcases the authentic training methods developed within the Club’s Academy, helping young players to reach their full potential. The content is available to everyone online and across our official social media channels.
Challenges will be released across nine weeks, with the first session – available now below – based on Academy Graduate and England international, Harry Winks...
During half-term, our Global Football Development team is running a virtual player development programme from 15-19 February. Live from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, three programmes will run over the course of the week, available for:
• 7-9-year-olds.
• 10-12-year-olds.
• 8-12-year-olds (girls only).
Each programme includes five one-hour sessions, from Monday to Friday, and covers methods including technical practices, themed workshops, technical challenges and competitions. Throughout the week, participants will have the chance to win prizes and may even be joined by a few special guests!
As part of the programme, the coaches and scouting network will monitor the players, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop their skills. At the end of the programme, all participants will receive their own digital player skill cards and a digital completion certificate.
Due to high demand, more spaces are now available for the February half-term programme. The price per participant for the full week is £30 and further information can be found at tottenhamhotspur.com/holidays
