Tottenham HotspurSerge Aurier remains a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Manchester City (5.30pm).
The full-back picked up an injury that forced him off after 68 minutes of Sunday’s win against West Brom and sidelined him for our FA Cup tie at Everton on Wednesday night. Gareth Bale, Gio Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon also missed out at Goodison Park.
Speaking to us ahead of training on Friday, Jose Mourinho said: “Serge Aurier, maybe he can play, I don’t know. We still have one more training session to see. Sergio Reguilon, no chance. Gio Lo Celso, no chance. I would say Reguilon has a chance to play Europa League next week.”
Jose added in his pre-match press conference: “No new injuries. Sergio, not even close. Gareth, we have a training session in the afternoon to see if he feels ready or not.”
