JE3 Foundation shirt auction update

Mon 28 September 2020, 10:25|Tottenham Hotspur

We had previously announced that match-worn shirts from our Carabao Cup Third Round tie with Leyton Orient would be signed and auctioned in aid of the JE3 Foundation, set up in the memory of Justin Edinburgh.

Despite the tie no longer going ahead, we remain committed to helping raise vital funds for this worthy cause and will instead be auctioning shirts from Tuesday’s Fourth Round clash against Chelsea.

We shall communicate details on how to bid for an item via our online auction in the coming days.

Justin made 276 appearances for the Club between 1990-2000, winning the FA Cup in 1991 and the League Cup in 1999.

He also wrote himself into Orient folklore as a manager, guiding the East London club back into the Football League with a promotion from the National League in May, 2019.

Sadly, Justin passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest a month later, aged 49.

The JE3 Foundation was established by his family soon after, aiming to support UK heart health charities and to campaign for legislative change – Justin’s Law – to make it compulsory for all health, fitness and sports facilities to be equipped with a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD).
