Tour 2019 - setting records with AIA!

Sat 20 July 2019, 12:13|Tottenham Hotspur

Nine of our players joined forces with AIA, our Global Principle Partner, to set a record in Singapore on Saturday.

Christian Eriksen, Anthony Georgiou, Brooklyn Lyons-Foster, George Marsh, Lucas Moura, Tanguy Ndombele, Moussa Sissoko, Oliver Skipp and Harvey White took part in the special event at AIA's Fan Zone at the Singapore National Stadium.

They were joined by AIA employees, Singapore Football Association personnel, members of the Singapore Spurs Supporters’ Club, social media winners and participants from Children’s Wishing Well charity to attempt a Singapore National Record for the time it takes to pass a ball between 100 people.

And they did it! With a time of two minutes and three seconds, the group set the record and the Singapore Book of Records was on hand to make the official presentation!

Later, the players met fans and took part in football freestyling including keep-ups with various objects including a ping-pong ball, rugby ball, rattan ball and then 'Jianzi', a traditional Chinese sport where players juggle a feathered, weighted shuttlecock.
