Mauricio Pochettino, Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Rianna Dean have all earned nominations in the 2019 London Football Awards.

Independently judged by key figures across the game in the capital plus members of the media, the annual awards celebrate the very best of football in London over the course of a season.

Mauricio is up for Manager of the Year in 2018/19, joined by Chelsea’s Maurizio Sarri, Charlton Athletic’s Lee Bowyer, Joe Montemurro of Arsenal Ladies and Javi Gracia of Watford, while Harry and Sonny have been shortlisted for Premier League Player of the Year along with our Academy graduate Andros Townsend, now starring for Crystal Palace, plus Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Striker Rianna, in superb form for Spurs Ladies this term, is a nominee for Women’s Player of the Year along with the Chelsea duo of Erin Cuthbert and Ji So-Yun, plus Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema and Jordan Nobbs.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 28 February at Battersea Evolution. Funds raised will benefit the Willow Foundation, the well-known national charity which provides uplifting specials days for seriously ill 16- to 40-year-olds.
